Medic Mentors: National Healthcare Weekend

Date: Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th December 2019 

Time: 9:30am - 5:30pm

Where: University of Surrey

The second Medic Mentors weekend for years 10, 11 and 12 is happening this weekend. If students are interested in becoming doctors, this event will give students insight into the Medicine as a career.

Sussex Skills Clubs

The Skills Clubs have been designed to engage year 8 learners in identifying and exploring the different health and social care careers that are available within the NHS. The Skills Clubs will run after school and at premises of a local NHS trust and consist of one 90-minute session per week over a six-week period.


  • Help boost your science grades
  • Provide advanced knowledge of NHS career opportunities, including apprenticeships
  • Chance to meet NHS professionals
  • Transport to and from the venue is provided (including refreshments)
