Examinations for 2025-2026
The DfE provides students with a number of guidance documents that students should also read in advance of completing their NEA and sitting their external exams. We will provide a link to the Ofqual Student Guide to Exams and Assessments in 2026 when it is available.
The provisional dates for the Summer Exams at St Catherine’s College this year are from 8 May until 18 June 2026.
In addition to the set dates, there is an additional date which has been allocated as National ‘Contingency Exam Day. This is to provide an opportunity for Examination Boards to reschedule exams in the event of unforeseen cancellations, such as a Covid outbreak or national disasters.
It is important that parents and students understand that holiday plans should not be made during the exam period or on the contingency date below:
-
Wednesday 24 June (All day)
Students will receive an individual exam timetable nearer the time.
In addition to the Summer Exam period, throughout the year students may have structured Internal or External Assessments (NEA’s) for some qualifications.
