Margaret Durrant

Foundation Governor
"Finding myself keen to be a Governor was a bit of a surprise, even though my entire career has been in education, most of it in secondary schools! Although I enjoyed teaching both Religious Education and Music, my main love and focus was Pastoral Care, including several years as Head of House.
This close contact with often the most vulnerable students, plus life skills gained outside of school in voluntary work, including as a trained Cruse Bereavement Care Counsellor, gives me insights relevant to being a useful governor."
