Sports Hall official opening
St Catherine's College has been trying to realise the dream of a modern state-of-the-art Sports Hall for over 20 years. We have managed to complete the initial phases of the building, including the Sports Hall itself. Further fundraising is required to complete the studio rooms, changing rooms and offices. PE lessons in the Sports Hall will commence from September.
The Sports Hall was officially opened by The Lord Bishop of Chichester, The Rt Revd Martin Warner and The Bishop of Montego Bay, The Rt Revd Leon Paul Golding. Guests for the opening ceremony included pupils, staff, parents and Governors; representatives from the Diocese of Chichester and the Local Authority; alongside the architects (Felce & Guy) and the builders (Direct Line) who have made the Sports Hall possible.ur news story here.
