PA to Senior Leadership Team • Salary Single Status Grade 5  • £17,178 - £18,070 pa pro rata  
17 hours per week – term time only • This is a permanent post.

We require an additional PA for our Senior Leadership Team to provide secretarial and organisational support.

This is a busy part time post and the successful applicant should have an eye for detail and possess first class grammar and punctuation skills; the ability to liaise and build positive relationships with the Senior Leadership Team and other PA’s within the Administration Team; have experience of producing documents to a high standard using Microsoft Word and Excel and be highly IT literate.

Attendance Assistant

Single Status Grade 4 - £16,120 - £16,778 pa pro rata • 15 hours per week to be worked 10.00am to 1.00pm daily, school term time only • Fixed term post until 20 July 2018

We are looking to recruit an Attendance Assistant to be responsible for assisting the Attendance Officer, monitoring and improving student attendance data within SIMS.  The post holder will also support the college attendance policy through the administration of registration processes, following up and investigating absences, and working closely alongside pastoral staff.

Previous experience of working in a secondary school environment and previous knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage.

TEACHER OF ENGLISH

Salary:  TMS • Full or part time permanent post • Required Easter or September 2018

We are looking to recruit to our existing strong team a committed Teacher of English who is passionate about their subject area. This post would be especially suitable for NQT’s.

This is a permanent post and can be either full or part time.

We are looking to recruit to our existing strong team a committed Teacher of English who is passionate about their subject area.

There is an opportunity of a Lead Practitioner role, paid on the leadership salary scale for an exceptional candidate.  This would require the successful candidate to share their subject expertise and be prepared to lead projects within their specialism.

Additionally at St Catherine’s College we are part of a growing trust called DCAT currently part of six academies.  This offers the opportunity of career development, potentially working in different settings and leading cross trust projects in English.

EXAMINATION INVIGILATORS

NJC Grade 2, scale point 11 £8.19 per hour

We require a number of additional examinations invigilators to participate in conducting external examinations for pupils; ensuring that all JCQ regulatory requirements for the conduct of examinations are strictly adhered to.

The posts are claims only posts.  You should be reliable, flexible and have availability throughout May and June each year for the actual examinations and in November for mock examinations.  Experience of working in a school / college or working with young people would be desirable.
